Pristine rainforest canopy and eco-tourism lodge developments across the Guiana Shield.
The Guyana Tourism Authority has officially rolled out a comprehensive master investment blueprint targeted at positioning the nation as South America’s undisputed eco-tourism capital, combining sustainable rainforest conservation with boutique hospitality infrastructure.
Under the initiative, special fiscal incentive packages are being granted to indigenous community-owned eco-lodges along the Rupununi savannahs, Essequibo river basin, and Iwokrama rainforest reserve.
Direct international flight expansions connecting Cheddi Jagan International Airport to North American and European gateways have already driven visitor arrivals up by 24% year-on-year.
